Other plans implement an accumulating charge after the bandwidth is exceeded. Businesses need to be careful of services that do not provide a capped rate because an overrun on bandwidth limits can result in costly charges.

There may be additional service installation and hardware costs on top of business DSL plan commitments. This can vary between service providers depending on the nature of the agreements.
